La Sella Golf Resort and Spa

La Sella Golf Resort

La Sella Golf Resort & Spa opened in 1990, with design influenced by Jose Maria Olazabal. Water is the main hazard to avoid, often from the tee, but the golf course is well bunkered too. You'll need to drive well to come home with a decent round here – besides water and sand there are plenty of orange and almond trees to catch you out!

Bordering the Montgo Nature Park, La Sella is surrounded by classic Mediterranean woodland (including pine trees and orange groves) and rolling hills offering some beautiful scenery. Nine of the 18 holes were designed by Ryder Cup legend and multiple major winner, Jose Maria Olazabal, and with many of the holes needing superb recovery skills if you get out of position, you can see it bears his touch. However, it is not an overly demanding golf course. It measures only just over 6,000 yards and as long as you locate the lush fairways in the valleys between the trees, a good score is likely to follow.

The golf course offers a club house with restaurant, Pro Shop, Driving Range, Golf Academy, Putting Green, Pitching Green, Bunker, Caddies and buggies and repair service of golf equipment.
