 Pedreguer:

Pedreguer municipality which adjoins Ondara and Gata de Gorgos, is located at the foot of the great mountain where fantastic hiking routes depart.

It is a very traditional village dedicated to the agriculture with abundant irrigated  fields, leather goods, bags and hats. It is a town that has not lost its identity, also you can eat very well, there are several restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine as "arrós amb fessols i naps" and the traditional "tapas".

On Saturday there is a large market in the main square where you can find great variety of fruits and vegetables, and Sunday there is a flea market in the industry area.

The festivities are held in July and Pedreguer is well known for this, since they are very fond of the bulls and is like a small Pamplona during San Fermines.

The capital of the Marina Alta, Denia, we find it 8 km away where we find the great port  with departures daily to the Balearic Islands and large rock and sand beaches. The entrance to the A-7 motorway is just 4 km away from Pedreguer, just like the national highway 332, so access to the municipality is very good.

Access:

Pedreguer is situated approximately halfway in between Alicante (city) and Valencia, which both have their own international airport with direct routes to all major European cities- roughly one hour's drive from each city on the AP7 motorway. Pedreguer lies in the north end of Costa Blanca which is characterised by a beautiful, fertile and a diverse landscape and fortunate to have avoided the over developments found in other parts on the Costa Blanca and Spain.
