With the exception of La Sella Golf Resort, hardly any of the other cities are on the list of visiting holiday tourists, nor do Norwegian property buyers have these Spanish villages on their list of places where they think they can find their dream place. These cities are good Spanish villages for good and for worse - they have everything you expect, including many festivals, fallas festivals, their own bulls, markets, and a rich local and typical Spanish environment. None of the cities are "built for tourists" and they are therefore not "decorated" as you find in the typical development areas elsewhere and on the many so-called golf resorts further south. This is the real Spain. In the middle of this is La Sella Golf Resort - a different resort than all the other "13 in the dozen" resorts elsewhere. La Sella is like an exclusive residential area and has none of the "resort-like" that so many dislike. With the 5 cities (plus the slightly larger Denia and Javea) within a few kilometers from La Sella you get the best of both worlds and therefore many Norwegians have settled here. But La Sella is primarily international and is not characterized by any particular nationality. In addition, there is a great deal of discretion and privacy here so you can live and live as privately as you want, or participate in the extensive social life whether in the Spanish communities around or at La Sella itself.
